Facebook is a social networking site that networks people based on their information. We can find networks on a wide variety of things. It is based on the information they provide in their user profile when they sign up for Facebook.
We can connect to a wide range of networks and meet more people like you. Many people are using Facebook to meet many new people in their lives and find old friends they lost. These are all made possible by the information users provided.
Users give information like age, sex, school, college, workplaces, marital status and religion. Also share their interests like food, cinema, actors, music and political views. This information will help to integrate other user profiles with mutual interests. This is for a user to connect with another user.

We can create an account, page, group for your business. We can share your information using images, Videos, Articles, links and Posts in groups, news feeds, and pages.
You can add friends to an account limited to 5000 friends, and friends can be invited to like and follow your pages. We can also add more members to groups and create various groups. Here you can share your business information. It may have visibility also.
Paid Marketing
Paid marketing obviously you have to pay for that. You can give advertising where you can design a campaign to limit who are all can see your advertising by age, sex, marital status, location, education qualification, a profession like the information shared in the user profile.
With this advertisement facility, we can create awareness about your product or service, generate more traffic to your website, you can sell directly. We can ask the customer to fill out the form with their email id, mobile number, and postal address.
Collecting the customer’s email IDs will help you do email marketing. Since the customers fill their email IDs, our emails will reach the inbox directly instead of the Spam folder.
Remarketing
Remarketing is also paid marketing. Here new element is involved called pixel. While we were advertising, we had to get and apply the pixel element in our website from Facebook. Pixel is nothing but strings of code where you will get a separate ID for your website.
If someone visits the website through your Facebook advertising and does not take any action, we may retarget that customer again and show the product to them to buy or use them to take necessary action.

As I told you earlier, there are 300 billion Facebook accounts globally, of which 30 million are from India. It is a ready marketplace where people have already accumulated. But most MSMEs ( Small business Owners ) not using this.
